EDUCATOR/EDUCATRIX – RESIDENTIAL FACILITY

INTEGRA is a non-profit association working to promote the social inclusion of at-risk groups. To carry out its social mission, it manages services in personal care, employment and vocational training, housing and residential support, special education, leisure, and also commerce. All these services are directed toward people with intellectual disabilities, people at risk of social exclusion, and children with developmental disorders or at risk of developing them, within the Garrotxa region. The organization’s primary objective is to provide assistance resources aimed at improving the quality of life of persons with functional diversity, other groups at risk of exclusion, and their families. • Pedagogical functions in work and leisure settings. • Assistance/support in daily living activities. • Assistance/support in hygiene and eating habits. • Administration of medication. • First aid for minor wounds or injuries. • Accompaniment during outings and social activities. • Promotion and intervention to improve personal and social skills. • Recording incidents in the daily log and completing required records. • Knowledge and application of various protocols. • Kitchen duties (1 educational assistant only on weekdays). • Compliance with the organization’s Code of Ethics, Criminal Risk Prevention Plan, and specific Deontological Code. * Minimum 1 year of experience. • Demonstrable experience in a similar workplace within the field of intellectual disability and/or mental disorder. * MIDDLE-LEVEL VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION (FP) * Competencies / knowledge: • Formal education in the social field. • Food Handler Certificate. Professional and social competencies: • Responsibility. • Patience. • Group dynamics facilitation. • Tolerance. • Creativity. * Permanent employment contract. * Full-time position. * Additional relevant information: We seek candidates for various shifts and schedules. Shift timing: Morning shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.), afternoon shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), and night shift (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.). Weekday and night team: Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.
