To achieve this, we are looking to hire a Data Engineer to join our IT Department. What do you need for this position? We seek a candidate with a higher education or university degree in Computer Science or a related field. You must have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering or data management, and it is important that you wish to further develop your career by participating in data transformation and analytics projects. It is essential that you have experience working with SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling, as well as solid knowledge of SQL Server and data services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. We will also value your experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and Excel, as well as knowledge of Python and other programming languages—especially .NET. Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency (B2-C1) will be considered a strong advantage. What will you do with us? You will work closely with the CIO and the rest of the department to continue developing the company's data ecosystem. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Participating in the development, construction, validation, and maintenance of the company's data architecture, ensuring its proper operation and evolution. * Managing and optimizing various data ecosystem services, including databases, data warehouse, data lake, and other associated platforms. * Identifying improvement opportunities and designing and implementing tools, automations, and processes to increase data efficiency, availability, quality, and reliability. * Integrating new information sources and developing datasets that meet the business’s analytical and operational needs. * Participating in the design, planning, and execution of initiatives driven by the department. * Designing, developing, and maintaining the semantic data model supporting corporate reports and dashboards in Power BI. * Ensuring data transformation processes (ETL/ELT) produce clean, structured, and optimized information for analytical exploitation and decision-making.
