Experience the essence of Mallorca through exceptional personalized experiences, unique gastronomic offerings, and revitalizing wellness moments—all designed to immerse you in the island’s authentic and extraordinary spirit. **About the Position** Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, the Steward will be responsible for washing and maintaining cleanliness of utensils, tableware, and kitchen areas, ensuring an orderly environment and complying with basic hygiene standards to support the kitchen team. **As a Steward, you will be responsible for the following duties:** * Dishwashing: Wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, and utensils, adhering to hygiene standards and using appropriate cleaning products. * Kitchen cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, utensils, and equipment to comply with food hygiene and safety standards. * Waste management: Properly sort and dispose of waste, following environmental and health regulations. * Kitchen organization: Keep kitchen utensils and equipment organized and in good condition. * Hygiene and safety compliance: Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace. * Maintenance of common areas: Keep common areas, corridors, and storage spaces clean and tidy. **As a Steward, we expect the following from you:** Experience and Education * Prior experience in the same role is preferred. Technical Skills * Basic cleaning skills: Previous experience in cleaning and washing utensils while maintaining high hygiene standards. * Knowledge of chemical products: Familiarity with dishware and utensil cleaning products, used safely and effectively. * Attention to detail: Ensure utensils, tableware, and surfaces are completely clean and free of residues or dirt. * Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel. **Our Commitment to You** * Learning and Development.
