We are currently preparing for the opening of two properties in Menorca: Son Vell (Ciutadella) and Son Ermità / Binideufà (Ferreries), and are seeking professionals committed to excellence to join our team. **About Son Vell** Son Vell, located in an impressive landscape within an extensive 180-hectare estate and just a short distance from the coast, stands as an eternal symbol of Menorca’s elegance and beauty. The spacious and sophisticated rooms and suites are distributed across the original 18th-century manor house, restored traditional outbuildings, and a series of newly constructed buildings—carefully integrated into aromatic gardens. **About Son Ermità and Binidufà** Located in the rural heart of Menorca, these two boutique hotels embody Mediterranean serenity and traditional Minorcan architecture. Surrounded by pristine nature and offering privileged access to the island’s coastline, Son Ermità and Binidufà deliver a gastronomic experience celebrating local produce, seasonality, and proximity-based cuisine. **Position Description:** As a Waiter Assistant at Vestige Collection, you will be a fundamental part of restaurant service operations, supporting the dining room team to ensure every gastronomic experience is impeccable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those wishing to begin or further develop their career in high-end dining service, learning professional techniques and being trained to the highest standards of luxury service. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Perform full table setup (mise en place): placement of tablecloths, cutlery, glassware, crockery, napkins, and decorative elements according to standards * Support waiters during service: transport dishes from the kitchen, remove used crockery, replenish cutlery, and maintain tables * Serve bread, water, appetizers, and proactively and discreetly refill glasses * Prepare and restock the service station (office): replenish clean cutlery, napkins, bread, butter, oils, and other items required for service * Maintain constant cleanliness of the dining room, service station, and work areas throughout service * Transport orders from the kitchen to the dining room following instructions from waiters and section supervisors * Dismantle and clean tables after guest departure, promptly preparing them for new services * Collaborate in setting up special events, banquets, etc. * Assist in cleaning glassware, cutlery, and decorative elements * Support receiving dining-room-related goods and their proper storage **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for?** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position * Experience in luxury hotels or restaurants is highly valued * Training in dining room and restaurant service * Food handler certificate * Basic knowledge of table setup and service techniques * Familiarity with different types of crockery, glassware, and cutlery * Knowledge of hygiene and service protocols * Ability to safely carry trays and plates * Basic digital competencies for handling kitchen devices * English: basic–intermediate level (desirable) * Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn * Attention to detail and discretion * Teamwork and stress management * Organizational skills to manage priorities, remember instructions, and keep work areas tidy * Availability to work various shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner), weekends, and holidays as required by service needs **What do we offer?** * The opportunity to join a soulful hospitality project that rescues heritage and creates memorable experiences * Integration in 2026 into a growing professional team * Opportunities for training and growth within Vestige Collection * Full-time permanent intermittent contract * A collaborative and respectful working environment within a privileged natural setting * Location in Menorca (Son Vell and Son Ermità & Binidufà hotels) **Do you identify with this project?** If this challenge inspires you—if you share our passion for creating unique experiences for our guests—we would love to meet you.
