The company TALLERS SERRA, S.L., a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the corrugated cardboard sector, located in Martorell, is seeking a Systems and Mobile Robotics Programmer with experience in Python, Linux, and robotics. The candidate will join the R\+D department, participating in the development and deployment of our industrial software platforms and the AI, robotics, and automation projects currently being driven by the company. The department works simultaneously on multiple fronts — computer vision, mobile robotics, and plant automation — so we seek a candidate capable of moving flexibly across projects and assuming new ones as they arise. You will become part of a small, multidisciplinary technical team, enjoying a high degree of autonomy and direct contact with products, production facilities, and customers. Software Development (Python and Node.js): • Backend development and maintenance in Python and frontend development and maintenance in Node.js for our applications. • Python programming to customize industrial systems. • Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software on embedded NVIDIA Jetson Orin devices running Linux. • On-site commissioning and validation at customer plants, and remote diagnostics of incidents. • Code management using a version control system (Git). Mobile Robotics and Automation: • Programming and commissioning of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material transport within the plant. • Integration of robots and equipment from different manufacturers under a unified control system. • Participation in the department’s new robotics, computer vision, and automation projects. Artificial Intelligence as a Working Tool: • Regular use of AI assistants to support programming tasks. • Maintenance and adaptation of our own AI agent framework — a fork of the open-source OpenClaw project. Documentation and Training: • Preparation of technical documentation tailored to each audience: README.md for equipment configuration, PDFs for robot programming, Word-based customer manuals, etc. • Structuring code and documenting its functionality using Markdown or wiki formats. • Delivering training sessions to colleagues within the department. * Experience: 3 years. o Minimum 3 years of software development experience. o Solid experience developing applications in Python. o Experience developing with Node.js and JavaScript. o Linux system administration: command line, services, networking, and permissions. o Version control using Git. o Experience with REST APIs and inter-system communication (MQTT, OPC UA, sockets, or similar). o Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and sound software development practices. o Willingness to travel (up to 20% of time). o High-level Spanish and upper-intermediate English (for technical documentation and international suppliers). * Bachelor’s or Engineering degree — Computer Science / Electronics * Higher Vocational Training (FP) qualification — Computer Science * English (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Ability to solve complex technical problems and work directly with real hardware on the shop floor. • Routine use of AI assistants for programming, while retaining the ability to independently read, understand, and debug the resulting code. • Strong communication and didactic skills, as the role involves training colleagues and interacting with suppliers. • Autonomy in planning and prioritizing personal tasks. • Proactive and solution-oriented individual, with organizational ability and creativity to identify solutions. * Willingness to travel * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary ranging from '3000' to '3200' * Additional information: Additional benefits • Flexible working hours • Parking space Working hours Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, distributed as follows: \- Monday to Thursday: 07:30–13:30 and 14:15–17:00. \- Friday: 07:30–13:45.
