Socioeducator/a for the Socioeducational Space – Espiral al Raval (Barcelona)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a socioeducational professional to design, coordinate and intervene with vulnerable adolescents, lead teams and promote academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Socioeducational intervention with adolescents in situations of vulnerability.
2. Leadership and coordination of socioeducational teams and projects.
3. Design and monitoring of activities to support academic success.
**EDUCATION**
Completed university degree in Social Education, Social Work, Primary Education Teaching, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy or other equivalent social field studies.
Leisure Monitor and/or Leisure Director qualification.
**COMPETENCIES**
Competence in developing, implementing and evaluating improvement plans with families and children in situations of vulnerability and/or social risk.
Competence in directing and leading contracted staff, volunteers and students on practicum. Ability to design, plan, implement and evaluate socioeducational projects.
Ability to develop, implement and evaluate individual and group work plans within socioeducational intervention, aligned with needs identified in collaboration with families and adolescents in situations of vulnerability and/or social risk.
Ability to support adolescents’ academic studies.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate across networks with services, projects and resources both within the organization and with local territorial networks.
Dynamism and autonomy.
Ability to work collaboratively with educational centres.
**EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS**
Proficiency in Catalan language (equivalent to level C). Minimum 1 year of experience.
Experience in facilitating and coordinating socioeducational activities with socially disadvantaged adolescents.
Experience in applying socioeducational approaches through group processes. Experience in school-based work and knowledge of current education legislation.
Experience in developing curriculum adaptations and individualized education plans.
Digital technology competencies and expertise supporting educational success, digital wellbeing care, and maker activities with children will be valued.
**Criminal Record Certificate for Sexual Offences is mandatory.**
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Design and monitoring of activities aimed at improving academic success.
Development and supervision of educational action programming.
Group and individual socioeducational intervention with adolescents in situations of vulnerability.
Socioeducational support: needs analysis, development, implementation and evaluation of improvement plans (tutoring, family interviews, coordination with corresponding social agents’ network).
Support for the educational team intervening with the group, volunteer facilitation, and supervision of practicum staff.
Coordination with the Local Social Agents Network.
Coordination of matters related to the ProInfància programme.
Coordination with the school’s teaching staff.
**SCHEDULE** 25 weekly hours, Monday to Thursday, primarily in the afternoons. Occasional weekend work, compensated within the annual working hours. Activities at holiday camps and summer camps during school holidays.
**GROSS SALARY** €1,330.29 gross per month, paid in 12 installments.
**START DATE** Immediate.
**CONTRACT TYPE** Indefinite-term part-time contract.
