**ABOUT US** At MyUrbanScoot, we operate an international e\-commerce platform for scooters, vinyl records, and spare parts, alongside a network of physical stores with workshops across Spain. Our entire business runs on a single, modern, headless stack built in-house. Therefore, we seek autonomy, strong technical judgment, and the drive to make real impact. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * Build and lead features for our online store using Next.js 14 (App Router) and headless backend. * Develop internal products on the same stack: tools for workshop management, repair orders, and inventory tracking across our physical stores. * End\-to\-End development: from database and API to a flawless, responsive UI built with React \+ Tailwind CSS. * Work on a multi\-language (i18n) platform: support for multiple markets, currencies, translations, and localized routes. * Integrate and maintain critical services: payment gateways, search engines, notifications, and logistics. * Diagnose and resolve production incidents: performance optimization, caching, and scalability. * Deployments and operations: manage services on Railway (preview environments per PR and production deployments). * Make autonomous technical decisions: identify a problem, scope it, select the best solution, test it, open a PR, and ship it to production. You’ll have a voice in shaping our technical direction. **WHAT WE REQUIRE (Mandatory)** * \+3 years of experience building production web applications as a Full\-Stack developer. * Demonstrable e\-commerce experience: you’ve built real online stores (carts, checkout, payments, order management, catalogs, and inventory). (Non-negotiable) * Next.js (App Router, SSR/ISR, Server Components): expert level. * React and TypeScript: our codebase contains no "any" type. * Tailwind CSS: for creating clean, adaptable interfaces. * Multi\-language / i18n: practical experience localizing applications (we use i18next / react\-i18next). * Backend with Node.js and REST API design. * PostgreSQL and fluent ORM usage. * Git / PR-based workflow and the discipline required to work autonomously. * Technical leadership capability: you take ownership of work areas, analyze pros/cons, and execute end-to-end without micromanagement. **NICE TO HAVE** * Deployments on Railway or similar PaaS (Render, Fly.io, Vercel). * Headless Commerce platforms (Medusa.js, Shopify Hydrogen, commercetools, Saleor). * Search engine integration (Meilisearch, Algolia). * Redis (caching/queues), S3-compatible storage (MinIO/S3\), and CDN (Cloudflare). * Payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal) and notification services (Resend, SendGrid, Twilio/WhatsApp). * Logistics carrier integrations (GLS, MRW, FedEx, etc.). * Monorepo experience (pnpm workspaces). * Proficiency with product management tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Linear. * Fluency using AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to iterate faster (we use them daily). **OUR TECH STACK** * Frontend: Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, i18next, Radix UI, Framer Motion, Three.js * Backend: Node.js, Medusa.js 2, PostgreSQL, MikroORM, Redis * Infrastructure: Railway, Meilisearch, Algolia, MinIO, Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal, Resend, Twilio * Tools: pnpm monorepo, GitHub PR workflow, PR-based preview environments **WHAT WE OFFER** * Real impact and product ownership: your features will go live weekly, impacting real customers. * Modern stack with no legacy code: an efficient development culture enhanced by AI. * Agile team: flat structure, high autonomy, and direct visibility into business operations. * Young, dynamic workplace with continuous growth.
