Job Summary: We are seeking an export forklift operator for loading and unloading goods, with experience operating forklifts and stackers, as well as inventory management knowledge. Key Responsibilities: 1. Loading and unloading cargo using forklift trucks and managing loading lists. 2. Handling mixed cargo loads and identifying fragile/hazardous goods. 3. Using radio-frequency devices (PDA) for information management. We need a person to work in El Prat de Llobregat performing loading and unloading tasks for export goods. Your main responsibilities will include handling cargo with forklift trucks, ensuring all items are in perfect condition and properly organized. Prior experience managing loading lists and identifying various types of goods—from pallets to small packages—is essential; you must be able to adapt loading methods according to each shipment’s requirements. You will also use radio-frequency devices to consult and manage information, helping operations run more efficiently. This position requires handling mixed cargo loads, meaning you will work with diverse products requiring special care during loading. You must be capable of recognizing customers, understanding their requests, and determining whether goods are fragile or hazardous to ensure proper loading. Precise placement of cargo is critical, following instructions on the loading list indicating where each item goes, its weight, and other important details. We value independent, orderly work performance and high productivity in a constantly changing environment. Proficiency in operating forklifts, stackers, and order pickers is essential. Availability for the afternoon shift, Monday through Friday, on a fixed schedule is required. At least one year of relevant experience is preferred. Forklift operator license, experience loading consolidated shipments, knowledge of loading lists and radio-frequency (PDA) systems.
