The selected candidate will technically lead a development team (3–5 people), actively participating in development and technical decision-making within a critical systems environment handling high transaction volumes. Responsibilities: * Technically lead a backend development team (3–5 people). * Design and develop microservices in Java with Spring Boot. * Actively participate in coding and provide technical support to the team. * Define technical solutions and development best practices. * Design and implement REST APIs (JSON). * Work with PostgreSQL databases (modeling, queries, optimization). * Participate in the evolution of payment platforms and card issuance systems. * Collaborate on designing scalable solutions in high-availability and high-performance environments. Minimum Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with Java. * Experience with Spring Boot and microservice architecture. * Prior experience as a Tech Lead or technical team leader for development teams. * Experience working with REST APIs. * Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, modeling, performance). * Experience in critical, high-volume environments. * Experience in payment systems or financial systems (issuance, reconciliation, clearing). Desirable: * Knowledge of .NET Core. * Experience with API Gateways (WSO2 or others). * Experience with API security (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT). * Experience with messaging/event systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices. * Experience with advanced testing (integration tests, contract tests).
