The Layout TD maintains scenes, integrates Assets, and provides basic support to artists. This is an on-site position in Tenerife. Contract type: fixed-term for 15 months (September 2025 to late 2026\). ### **Minimum requirements** * Solid experience with Maya in a production environment. * Experience with USD pipeline. * Proven track record in Layout TD/Layout TA roles in animation or VFX. * Experience in CG series or animated films (desirable). * Knowledge of cameras, cinematography principles, and asset tracking. * Proficiency with character rigs and basic animation. * Ability to work from storyboards, animatics, and editorial cuts. * Advanced organizational and troubleshooting skills. * Familiarity with tools such as ShotGrid. * Strong communication skills. * Passion for animation, storytelling, and visual composition. * Experience in Layout QC and shot continuity workflows. * Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn. * Attention to detail. * Programming in Python/Mel (desirable). * Availability to work on-site in Tenerife. * Valid Spanish/EU work permit. ### **Duties** * Provide technical support to the Layout team and related departments. * Maintain Layout scenes and ensure proper integration of Assets. * Import and adapt previs and client files into the pipeline. * Ensure continuity of Assets and props across sequences and departments. * Collaborate with editorial and Assets teams. * Perform basic handling of character rigs for layout and camera blocking. * Identify and resolve technical issues within Layout. * Conduct QC (technical reviews) prior to handoff to animation or lighting. * Prepare technical Assets (sweep cameras, templates, test renders). * Suggest and document pipeline improvements. * Collaborate across departments. * Meet deadlines under the direction of Supervisors and Leads. * Maintain organized and well-documented scene files. ### **Benefits** * Work in the Canary Islands within a creative and dynamic environment. * Opportunities for professional development and involvement in high-profile projects. * Collaborative and supportive company culture.
