Candidates must have at least four years of experience working on civil engineering projects for substations and will join BOSLAN’s Generation and Networks Unit — Substations T\&D team — to carry out tasks such as: * Performing detailed civil engineering for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations (earthworks and volumetrics, roadways, drainage systems, conduits, foundations, buildings, etc.). * Designing and implementing high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations. * Reviewing civil engineering documentation for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations. * Drafting and reviewing technical specifications and tender documents related to civil works for high-voltage and medium-voltage substation construction. * Performing foundation, drainage, and other calculations for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations. * Performing foundation and structural calculations for control buildings of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations. * Providing technical support to clients regarding the design and execution of civil works for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations. This position offers hybrid work arrangements in any of the following locations: Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza, Alicante, Castellón. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Technical Engineering Degree / Technical Architecture Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum Experience: At least 4 years in a similar role. Minimum Knowledge: * Minimum of 4 years’ experience in civil engineering projects for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations. * Familiarity with Spanish construction regulations. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D. * Advanced knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and ProjectWise Engineer. * Proficiency in CYPE (user level). * Proficiency in Civil 3D (user level). * English language proficiency at B2 level or higher. Desirable Knowledge: * Familiarity with IBERDROLA’s civil engineering standards and design criteria for substations. * Advanced proficiency in CYPE. * Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D. * Familiarity with QGIS/GvSIG. * Knowledge of HVAC/ventilation system design and calculation. * Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary installation design and calculation. * Knowledge of interior and exterior lighting design and calculation. * Knowledge of fire protection system (PCI) design and calculation. * Knowledge of electromechanical engineering for electrical substations and associated calculations. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: * Strong technical, critical, and analytical capabilities, oriented toward efficient problem resolution. * Ability to interpret and analyze results from studies and calculations, applying a critical and constructive approach. * High degree of autonomy in work, complemented by excellent teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and focus on each. * Proactive attitude, flexibility in changing environments, and continuous willingness to learn and improve. * Organizational and prioritization skills, with initiative-taking ability and adherence to established deadlines. * Client management experience and capability, maintaining strong, results-oriented relationships.
