**Marine Electrician \- Smart Yachts International** Smart Yachts International is a leading specialist in marine electrical and systems integration, working on high\-end sailing and motor yachts worldwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Marine Electrician to join our expanding team. **The Role** You will be involved in the installation, commissioning, fault\-finding, and maintenance of marine electrical systems on yachts both in the UK and overseas. This is a hands\-on role requiring a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider project team. The position includes regular overseas travel, often to European yards and international yacht hubs. **Key Responsibilities** * Installation and commissioning of AC and DC electrical systems * Fault finding and diagnostics on marine electrical and electronic systems * Installation of navigation, communication, monitoring and control systems * Working to schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation * Liaising with project managers, captains, crew and other trades * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant marine regulations **Requirements** * Proven experience as a Marine Electrician (yacht experience essential) * Strong knowledge of marine AC/DC systems and best practices * Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings * Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail * Willingness and flexibility to travel and work overseas regularly * EU passport strongly preferred * Full driving licence * Professional, reliable, and able to represent the company on high\-value yachts **Desirable (but not essential)** * Experience with yacht monitoring systems, battery management systems, inverters/chargers, and navigation electronics * Relevant marine or electrical qualifications * Previous experience working internationally **What We Offer** * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * Opportunity to work on high\-quality yachts and international projects * Travel opportunities to leading yacht destinations * A professional, supportive team environment with scope for long\-term growth Job Type: Full\-time Pay: 30,000\.00€ \- 45,000\.00€ per year Language: * English (Required) License/Certification: * drivers license (Required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Required) Work Location: In person
