Description

We are seeking personnel for a metalworker position in Gijón (Asturias). Main tasks include feeding production machinery and entering the necessary parameters for their operation. Participation in the painting line is also required, including hanging and un-hanging parts. Job responsibilities also cover strapping and packaging of finished goods, as well as operating forklifts and overhead cranes. To qualify for this position, prior experience in the metal sector is essential—specifically in machinery feeding roles and overhead crane operation. A valid forklift and overhead crane operator license is required. This offer entails a permanent full-time contract with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, including legally mandated rest days. Salary will be governed by the Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement of the Principality of Asturias.
