We are seeking an EVENTS COORDINATOR for our HESPERIA VIGO HOTEL What will you do on a daily basis? * Planning, organizing, preparing, and executing events. * Budget management. * Event coordination with clients: payment, collection, invoicing. * Driving sales and promoting company services. * Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation. * Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and identify areas for business growth. * Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and external contacts. * This position is fundamental to the company’s growth and success, as you will be on the front line of customer interaction. What do you need for this position? * University degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field. * Knowledge of commercial techniques and sales. * Organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Teamwork ability. * Proven experience in sales functions within 4-star hotels, with extensive meeting room capacity. * Experience in acquiring new clients in domestic markets, attending trade fairs and roadshows/workshops with other companies. * Familiarity with major DMCs. * High-level proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory; French or German as a second language is valued. * Minimum two years’ experience as an Events Coordinator or similar role in 4-star hospitality.
