To support this growth, we are hiring a **Finance Manager** to join a dynamic team in our Barcelona office and continue building a world\-class, creative organization by finding the best talent for our incredible culture. **Missions** ------------ Reporting to the VP Finance, the Finance Manager based in Barcelona is responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial records, managing monthly closings, and coordinating accounting and tax matters for the France and Spain entities, in close collaboration with external accounting firms, FinOps teams, auditors, and Boats Group’s accounting teams. **Objective**: Ensure accurate, timely, locally compliant, and group-standard financial reporting. ###### **Accounting \& Management Oversight** * Manage the Accounting Department, including a Senior Accountant based in Barcelona (prioritization, coaching, skills development). * Supervise general and subsidiary ledgers (receivables, payables, banks, fixed assets). * Implement and monitor accounting procedures (cut\-off, account reconciliations, documentation). ###### **Month\-End Closings \& Financial Reporting** * Lead month\-end closings (planning, cut\-off, analytical reviews, variance explanations). * Coordinate accounting for French and Spanish subsidiaries: manage relationships with external accounting firms, critically review and validate deliverables. * Prepare monthly reporting (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs). * Manage operational accounting in coordination with FinOps teams (ensuring transaction accuracy, reconciliations, variance analysis, continuous improvement). ###### **Consolidation \& Reporting Package** * Collaborate with the Group’s consolidation teams (intercompany reconciliations, mapping, cut\-off, controls). * Oversee bi\-annual consolidation performed by an external consolidator: scope definition, coordination, journal entry review, and preparation of the reporting package. ###### **Audit \& Compliance** * Manage relationships during audit and statutory audit engagements: prepare PBC lists, coordinate activities, respond to queries, track recommendations. * Monitor applicable accounting and tax regulations for the Group’s operations (France\/Spain) and ensure compliance of internal practices. **Treasury \& Cash Management** * Monitor cash position, prepare short\/medium\-term cash forecasts, secure payments. * Manage banking relationships (account opening\/maintenance, signing authorities, KYC compliance, payment flow optimization). ###### **Additional Responsibilities** * Coordinate specific topics: transfer pricing\/intercompany, re\-invoicing, documentation, intra\-group agreements. * Implement pragmatic internal controls: segregation of duties, audit trail, key controls, access management for systems. * Ensure data integrity of master data (chart of accounts, analytical dimensions, cost centers, consolidation mapping). * Continuous improvement \& tools: Optimize processes and maintain month\-end closing timelines; contribute to finance tool evolution: rules, automation, data quality, documentation. ###### **Deliverables \& Success Metrics** * Monthly closing delivered on time and without major reservations. * Up\-to\-date account reconciliations, aligned intercompany balances, explained variances. * Reliable reporting (P\&L\/balance sheet\/cash flow\/KPIs). * Smooth audits: proactive request handling, clean documentation, rapid issue resolution. * More robust finance processes. ### **Why Join Us?** **A Strategic and Visible Role** You hold a key position within a rapidly expanding international group.
