A Master's degree in Renewable Energies is highly valued. **Required Knowledge:** Strong understanding of thermodynamic concepts in industrial Rankine cycle processes and energy balances. **Knowledge of concentrating solar power technologies is desirable**, especially parabolic trough systems, as well as knowledge of the electricity market. **Proficiency in Office suite, especially Excel and Visual Basic**. Knowledge of PowerBi and simulation models (SAM) will be valued. **English C1/B2 level** **Experience:** **More than three years in a similar role in power generation plants**, preferably in solar thermal plants. **Other Requirements:** **Availability for occasional/monthly travel to power plants and/or central offices.** #### **Competencies** Good communication skills and pleasant demeanor; Problem Solving and Decision Making; Results Orientation, Planning and Organization. Candidate must be proactive and autonomous. #### **Responsibilities** **Reporting to the Asset Performance Leader:** * **Monitoring and validation of key performance indicators (KPIs)** to track operation, maintenance, and performance of solar thermal assets. Create and evaluate global and asset-specific dashboards. * **Preparation of reports and presentations for plant review committees**, shareholders, and lenders. Critical assessment of reported data and technical knowledge of the technology required. * **Lead the Business Intelligence dashboard automation project** within the solar thermal scope, coordinating with other departments across the company. * **Support in the preparation of the production budget process.** Analyze historical assumptions regarding plant performance and provide critical evaluation to propose realistic targets. * **Coordinate with solar thermal plant teams, leading working groups focused on improving facility performance.** * **Modeling of plants using various software tools** to estimate potential production based on solar resource and plant condition. Experience with SAM is a plus. * **Technical support in incident analysis** (trips, failures, efficiency losses, grid limitations). Calculation of losses and root cause analysis. Familiarity with software tools such as PI\-Process Book for analyzing data from plant control systems DCS/TCS/FCS. * **Analysis of natural gas, electricity, and nitrogen consumption, and proposal of improvements.** * **Monitoring compliance with current legislation** (CNMC, fuel consumption). * **Liaise with the technical advisor appointed by financial institutions.** * **Coordinate annual and semi-annual reporting.** Continuous monitoring of operations and maintenance. * **Calculation of bonuses and penalties according to the Operation and Maintenance contract.** * **Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools** for process analysis and improvement. * **Participate in the development of new projects** (CSP, hybridization projects, and new improvement initiatives in existing plants) #### **Who We Are?** Solclef is an energy asset operator, currently fully focused on renewable generation.
