Stable position in an established company undergoing growth. 24/08/2026 Job Description Castañé Grup, specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom industrial wooden packaging, located in Besalú (La Garrotxa), is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our machining department to support operations and program setup on a CNC milling machine for producing technical wooden packaging. What is the objective of your role? To support CNC machining processes for the production of technical packaging, ensuring quality and production efficiency, while developing competencies in ISO programming and process optimization. Requirements * Qualification: Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Machining or similar. * Preferred: \- Additional training in machining processes. + ERP system knowledge. + Computer literacy. * Responsibilities: What will your duties be? + Machine setup and startup. + Execution of programs written in ISO language. + Interpretation of technical drawings. + Adjustment of machine parameters. + Dimensional verification and visual inspection of produced parts. + Basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine and work area. + Support in improving cutting processes and optimizing production time. * Essential: What do we expect from you (mandatory)? + Minimum 2 years’ experience performing tasks similar to those described, in industrial environments. + Methodical, quality-oriented, and solution-focused individual with capacity for learning, adaptation to new processes, and autonomy in task management. + Knowledge of machining and ability to interpret technical drawings. + Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Machining or similar. + Valid driver’s license (Class B) and personal vehicle. + Residence in the Garrotxa region or adjacent areas. + Native-level Catalan and/or Spanish. * Additional requirements: What do we value? + Additional training in machining processes. + ERP system knowledge. + Computer literacy.
