Job Mission: * Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply currently effective, legally established trade policy measures. Scope of the Role: * 15\-20 DUA/Daily Responsibilities: * Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply currently effective, legally established trade policy measures. * Be registered in the Register of Customs Representatives maintained by the Customs and Special Taxes Department of the Spanish Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria). * Stay up to date on legal information regarding international trade regulations and current customs legislation, as well as monitor developments in EU laws and administrative regulations. * Determine the correct classification and taxable value of products according to their quotas, restrictions, and customs controls, based on rules of origin and agreements with other countries or groups established by the EU. * Resolve incidents arising during these operations. * Carry out compliance-related controls and assigned procedures. * Collect evidence demonstrating the implementation and effectiveness of assigned compliance controls and procedures. Tasks: * Create and obtain the customs services required for goods to clear customs properly. * Process and attend to ongoing customs clearance requests. * Monitor, advise, and support importers and exporters of goods. * Act as mediator between importer and exporter when necessary. * Ensure legal compliance for all operations. * Advise and support clients on customs matters, providing accurate and up-to-date information on changes, trends, and statistics. * Open client assignment files by entering data into the IT system to assign them an order number for reference. * Prepare all necessary client documentation according to the type of goods and destination country, and complete the Single Administrative Document (D.U.A.). * Interact with clients to clarify doubts or incidents related to required documentation. * Submit the D.U.A. electronically via network connection for registration and numbering. * Transfer submitted declarations to the AEAT’s digital archive. * In case of the “orange channel”, submit the file to Customs for documentary review and approval (green channel); manage the dossier containing all submitted documentation for archiving. * In case of the “red channel”, arrange for goods to be placed under customs examination status and update the dossier accordingly. * Issue certificates of origin in accordance with EU agreements with the destination country, certifying compliance with applicable regulations. \- Apply assigned compliance procedures and controls. \- Periodically collect evidence of compliance with assigned compliance controls and procedures. **WHAT YOU BRING** ----------------------- Requirements: * Education: Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Logistics. * Basic knowledge: Microsoft Office suite, English B1 level, and knowledge of domestic and international trade. * Specific knowledge: Registration in the Register of Customs Representatives maintained by the Customs and Special Taxes Department of the Spanish State Tax Administration Agency (Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria).
