We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to be the right hand of our culinary team at the Torroella de Montgrí youth camp. You will prepare menus that provide energy to thousands of children, young people, and families who come to enjoy their camps with us. What will your mission be in the kitchen? You will be a key player ensuring perfect and timely service: * Direct support to the chef in pre-preparation of food (peeling, cutting, preparing side dishes, and plating). * Support during service: Assist in delivering dishes and trays to the dining hall during peak-volume periods. * Hygiene and order: Maintain your work area (cutting tables, utensils, and tableware) immaculate at all times. * Food Safety: Strict compliance with hygiene protocols and HACCP regulations. What are we looking for? * Prior experience: You have previously worked as a kitchen assistant. Experience in collective catering (other youth camps, school cafeterias, nursing homes, or hospitals) is a strong plus! * Agility and organization: We seek someone quick, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team during the busiest service periods. * Positive attitude: Enthusiasm to contribute and work in a youthful, dynamic environment.
