DESCRIPTION **Job Mission:** As a Waiter/Waitress at ARTIEM Asturias, you will be a key player in creating unforgettable gastronomic experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, attentive, and personalized dining room service, ensuring guest satisfaction in every interaction and actively contributing to ARTIEM Hotels’ reputation for excellence. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Dining Room Service:** Taking food and beverage orders, presenting dishes and drinks attractively, serving orders accurately and efficiently, and clearing plates and tableware upon completion. * **Customer Service:** Greeting and welcoming guests cordially and professionally, addressing their requests, and resolving any incidents or complaints promptly and effectively—always striving to exceed their expectations. * **Product Knowledge:** Possessing in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, food-and-wine pairings, and special recommendations. Ability to advise guests and make personalized suggestions. * **Table Setup and Presentation:** Preparing tables prior to service (mise en place), ensuring proper presentation, cleanliness, and order. Maintaining general cleanliness and order in the dining area during and after service. * **Billing and Payment:** Managing billing and payment processes accurately using the designated computer system. * **Collaboration:** Working closely with the kitchen, bar, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP) and internal ARTIEM Hotels policies. * **Personal Image and Appearance:** Maintaining an impeccable personal appearance and well-kept uniform, reflecting the brand’s quality standards. **What Are We Looking For?** * **Experience:** Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in waiter/waitress roles within hotels, restaurants, or high-quality hospitality establishments. * **Service Orientation:** A genuine passion for hospitality and an innate desire to satisfy customers. * **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
