Job stability DESCRIPTION We are looking to hire **a Systems Technician \- IT Support** for an industrial setting in Gijón, in a 100% on-site role, who will serve as the factory’s IT reference point. This position plays a critical role in daily operations, ensuring system availability, user support, and proper management of local infrastructure within a production context where service stability is paramount. The selected candidate will be responsible for second-level support, basic Windows system administration, user and device management in Microsoft environments, as well as resolving on-site incidents, coordinating with other technical teams when necessary. REQUIREMENTS ### **Mandatory** * Minimum **3 years’ experience** in IT support and systems administration. * Technical education: * Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) / FP II or equivalent in: * Computer Science * Computer Systems * Systems Administration * Computer Systems and Networks * Or equivalent qualifications. * Experience in: * Second-level technical support for **end users**. * **Windows client and server** operating systems. * **Active Directory**: * User account creation and deactivation. * Group management. * **Microsoft Intune** and endpoint management. * **Microsoft 365** environments: * Exchange * Teams * OneDrive * Basic support for **Windows servers**. * Basic systems administration. * Local IT infrastructure: * Workstations. * Servers. * Network. * Basic networking: * Switch replacement and basic configuration. * Cable and connectivity testing. * Incident resolution in **factory or industrial plant environments**. * Ability to coordinate with other technical teams. * Full-time availability and willingness to work on-site at the plant. * Strong communication skills and user orientation. ### **Desirable** * Degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering. * Prior experience in **industrial environments or factories**. * Knowledge of **OT (Operational Technology)**. * Familiarity with **IT/OT convergence**. * Ability to operate in production environments with **high service criticality**. * Valid driver’s license. * Personal profile: * Technical, solution-oriented, and proactive. * Ability to manage and prioritize critical incidents. * Good interpersonal skills when interacting with users in production settings. * High sense of responsibility and business continuity orientation. * Interest in learning and developing within industrial environments.
