




Position Summary: We are seeking an RAM to serve as Ipsen’s institutional reference in Galicia, representing the company before regional decision-makers within the healthcare system. In alignment with the company’s overall strategies and departmental guidelines—as well as all working procedures and policies (local and corporate), applicable legislation, ethical and deontological codes—you will serve as Ipsen’s **institutional reference** in the assigned Autonomous Communities, acting as the **company’s representative before regional decision-makers in the healthcare system**. You will ensure optimal and sustainable access for Ipsen products in the assigned Autonomous Communities and key hospital accounts, by defining and implementing regional market access strategies, building value-based relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, and ensuring cross-functional coordination with Business Units and local Public Affairs and Market Access teams. **Your key responsibilities will be:** **Regional Strategy and Planning** * Lead the **design and execution of an Integrated Strategic Plan for each region and key account**, working cross-functionally and collaboratively with commercial, medical, and patient engagement teams. Develop and execute Regional Access Plans aligned with the **priorities of each Business Unit**. * Ensure correct **regional implementation of the national Public Affairs, Access, and Pricing strategy**, in collaboration with the national Public Affairs and Market Access team. * Identify **regional barriers, opportunities, and needs**, proposing value-driven solutions to facilitate access to Ipsen products. * Ensure **early preparation for new product launches**, collaborating with other functions to define the regional market readiness strategy, disease awareness initiatives, assessment scenarios, and proactive engagement with key stakeholders. **Stakeholder Engagement and Institutional Environment** * Act as a **strategic regional interlocutor with Regional Health Departments**, Regional Health Services, General Directorates, evaluators, and other key decision-makers—actively participating in access and decision-making processes. * At the hospital level, act as a **strategic interlocutor and build value-based relationships with hospital management, medical directors, heads of pharmacy departments**, and other key decision-makers—understanding the decision-making and procurement processes of major accounts. * **Identify, map, and maintain an updated network** of key stakeholders (health authorities, regional health services, pharmacy commissions, hospital managers, hospital pharmacy, scientific societies, and patient associations). * **Represent Ipsen at relevant regional forums, working groups, and institutional meetings**, reinforcing Ipsen’s **reputation and positioning** as a company committed to the sustainability of the healthcare system. **Execution and Cross-Functional Coordination** * Coordinate the **implementation of Business Unit access plans in assigned regions**, ensuring consistency with access policies and compliance requirements. * Lead the **field execution of Public Affairs and Value Access plans**, including disease awareness initiatives and brand-specific access plans. * **Lead strategic product negotiations and regional tenders**, ensuring economic viability and regulatory compliance. Present the **evidence-based and pharmacoeconomic value proposition of medicines**, using clear and compelling arguments aligned with Ipsen’s strategy and positioning—and adapted to the needs of payers and patients. * Identify **collaboration opportunities and value-creating projects** with key stakeholders that contribute to improving the **patient journey, training, or other distinctive value dimensions**. * Work cross-functionally with business and medical teams to maximize the impact of value strategies. * Ensure **contracts, agreements, and memoranda of understanding** are formalized in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations. **Environmental Analysis and Reporting** * Continuously monitor the **regional healthcare and regulatory environment**, assessing its impact on access and providing strategic insights. * Provide the national team with **key information on trends, threats, and opportunities in the assigned Autonomous Communities**, supporting the definition of access strategies. * Report on **results and performance indicators** of regional plans. **Ethics & Compliance** * Promote an **ethics-driven culture**, applying reference documents (Code of Ethical Conduct, Global Policies, etc.) that define Ipsen’s standards—fully compliant with laws, regulations, and industry codes. * Ensure all interactions with external stakeholders comply with the principles of **transparency and legality**. * Actively contribute to Ipsen’s **responsible and sustainable image**, in its relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and society. **Who Are We Looking For?** **Education** **Minimum Requirements** * Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree in Health Sciences. **Desirable** * Master’s or postgraduate degree in Market Access, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or MBA. * Training in Project Management. **Experience** * Minimum **2 years of experience** in Market Access or Institutional Relations. * In-depth knowledge of the **Spanish National Health System**, particularly regional and hospital-level decision-making. Familiarity and prior experience in the Autonomous Communities under your responsibility. * Experience in **negotiations with public administrations**, pricing, tenders, and value-based projects. * Prior experience as a **Regional Access Manager** (highly desirable). **Languages** * Fluent Spanish and English. **Key Technical Competencies Required:** * Ability to maintain contact and adapt flexibly to diverse stakeholders. * Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with health authorities. * Proven ability to communicate scientific or pharmacoeconomic concepts. * Analytical and strategic thinking. * Negotiation and influence skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Cross-functional teamwork capability.
