A well-established metallurgical company in Polinyà is seeking qualified TIG welders for morning shifts, offering stability, full-time hours from Monday to Friday, and a real opportunity for permanent employment after an initial ETT contract. Main responsibilities: \- Perform TIG welding on materials of varying thicknesses—from thin parts (1 mm) to thicker structures (\+20 mm)—ensuring weld joint quality according to manufacturing standards. \- Apply welding techniques, especially on materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, or others; versatility across different processes and materials is valued. \- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and fabrication schematics to correctly execute assigned tasks and ensure fidelity to design. \- Participate in the fabrication and assembly of light metal structures, assembling components with precision and ensuring final structural stability and strength. \- Routine use of manual and electric workshop tools, including: squares, calipers, levels, protractors, radial drills, and other auxiliary tools required for part adjustment and preparation. \- Dimensional control and quality verification of welded parts, ensuring compliance with tolerances and technical specifications. ### **Requirements** \- Minimum 4 years’ experience in TIG welding \- MIG/MAG experience is desirable \- Experience with thicknesses ranging from fine (1 mm) up to 20 mm or more \- Knowledge and proficiency in using manual and electric workshop tools: \- Squares, calipers, levels, protractors, radial drills, etc. \- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings \- Basic knowledge of light metal structure fabrication We positively value: \- Experience in TIG welding of stainless steel, aluminum, or other materials \- Knowledge of operation and parameterization of state-of-the-art welding equipment \- Ability to select the appropriate arc type for each task ### **Offer** \- Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday \- Shifts: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM \- Salary: Group 5 under the applicable collective agreement \- Contract: Initially via ETT, with possibility of transition to direct employment upon contract completion If you meet the profile and wish to join a professional team that values precision, quality, and commitment, do not hesitate to apply.
