Service Technician - Field

This is an excellent opportunity to join as a **surface equipment specialist** within a robust, innovative, and service-oriented technical department. You will become part of the **Epiroc Service Team**, where you will work with state-of-the-art machinery and develop your career in a highly specialized technical environment. **Role and responsibilities** Based in the **northern region of Spain** and reporting to the **Surface Equipment Supervisor**, as a **Customer Maintenance Technician**, your main duties will include: * Performing **preventive and corrective maintenance** on equipment. * Assembly, adjustment, and **maintenance of automation systems**. * **Installation and commissioning** of machinery at customer facilities. * Delivering **technical training** to customer personnel on the operation and handling of our equipment. * Proposing **technical or operational improvements** for installations to optimize machinery performance. * Maintaining **smooth communication** with service and product commercial teams, relaying field-identified needs. * Preparing **fault reports** and technical documentation. * Preparing **component lists** required for inspections, repairs, and quotation preparation. * Submitting **service reports**, such as daily work reports, within established deadlines. **Requirements:** * **Higher Vocational Training Degree** in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, or equivalent experience. * Minimum **3 years of experience** in maintenance of underground automated drilling equipment (jumbos, simbas, bolters, etc.). * Solid knowledge of **electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity**. * Advanced user-level **computer proficiency**. * Valid **driver's license**. * Proficiency in **Spanish** (spoken and written). * **English** (spoken and written) is considered a plus. **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition, and our cities and infrastructure must be developed to serve a growing population.
