WATER ANALYSTS, IN GENERAL

Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support the Plant Manager at a water treatment and purification company. Supervise sample collection and perform the analyses specified in the Analytical Plan, recording results in the management software. Travel using the company vehicle to collect samples from various facilities managed by the company. Evaluate analytical results and report them to the Plant Manager to ensure proper operation of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and process equipment and probes. Review production process parameters and implement corrective measures when necessary. Monitor and control discharges into sanitation systems and activate corresponding action protocols. Manage waste generated at the plant. Prepare and review standard operating procedures and technical reports. Support the Plant Manager in management tasks related to Quality, Occupational Risk Prevention, Environment, DocSite, and document management. Participate in internal audits and monitoring of company procedures. * MIDDLE-LEVEL VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Catalan (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: Higher or Middle Vocational Training Certificate in Analysis and Control, Chemistry, Environmental Health, Environmental Sciences, or similar field. Prior experience in laboratories or water treatment facilities is desirable. Valid driving license class B. Office software skills. Proficiency in spoken and written Catalan and Spanish.
