




**Purpose of the Role** Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Bürkert products and systems installed at customer facilities. The Service Technician guarantees an excellent service experience through precise interventions, rigorous diagnostics, and clear technical communication. This role is critical to customer satisfaction, operational continuity, and continuous improvement of our solutions. **Location and Reporting** Location: Barcelona area Mobility: Frequent travel to customer sites across Spain, up to 35% of working time. Reports to: Technical Office Manager. **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Interventions** Carry out installation, commissioning, and preventive/corrective maintenance of Bürkert products, systems, and applications. Diagnose faults, perform measurements and failure analysis, and manage service claims directly at the customer’s site. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and applicable regulatory standards during all interventions. **Customer Interaction** Act as the direct technical contact, ensuring professional, transparent, and solution-oriented communication. Deliver technical training to end users, maintenance teams, or plant managers. Rigorously record all service activities in corporate systems (CRM, SAP, etc.). **Continuous Improvement and Internal Support** Collaborate with R&D, Portfolio Management, Sales, Engineering, and other departments by providing relevant field-based technical input. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and products, proposing solutions that enhance reliability, availability, or maintainability. Stay up to date on products, regulations, methodologies, and digital service tools. **Role Objective** Deliver agile, accurate, and high-quality service—maximizing installed system availability and ensuring a positive customer experience. A strong diagnostic capability, rigorous documentation, and sound technical insight are expected to support continuous improvement, establishing the technician as a trusted reference both for customers and internal teams. **Job Requirements** **Education** Technical Engineering degree or Higher Vocational Training (Grado Superior) in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, or related fields. **Experience** 5 years’ experience in technical service, industrial maintenance, automation, or equipment commissioning.
