At present, we are seeking to hire a Microsoft Office 365 Administrator to collaborate on managing and optimizing the organization's Microsoft 365 environment.
**ROLE**
Our client, a pharmaceutical-sector company, seeks to onboard a **Jira Architect Freelance** to participate in a short-term project aimed at reviewing, designing, and optimizing its Jira environment.
The selected candidate will work with business, IT, quality, and project management teams to ensure Jira is configured in a scalable, efficient manner aligned with the organization’s operational, delivery, and compliance requirements.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Analyze the current Jira configuration, including projects, workflows, schemes, boards, permissions, notifications, automations, and integrations.
* Define a scalable, maintainable Jira architecture aligned with business and IT requirements.
* Design and optimize workflows for project management, IT delivery, change management, quality, or operations.
* Review issue types, custom fields, screens, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules.
* Propose improvements in governance, standardization, naming conventions, administration, and best practices.
* Design dashboards and reports for project tracking, delivery performance, and management visibility.
* Identify configuration risks, duplications, inefficiencies, or potential compliance gaps.
* Perform hands-on configuration when necessary.
* Advise on Jira best practices within regulated or validated environments.
* Document the recommended architecture, configuration standards, and implementation plan.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions.
* Conduct knowledge transfer to internal Jira administrators or project teams.
* Proven experience as a Jira Architect, Jira Consultant, Atlassian Consultant, or Senior Jira Administrator.
* Advanced and practical knowledge of Jira Software and Jira Service Management.
* Experience designing complex workflows, schemes, automations, dashboards, and permission models.
* Solid understanding of Jira governance, scalability, and administration best practices.
* Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations with other tools.
* Ability to translate business requirements into practical Jira solutions.
* Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments is highly valued.
* Knowledge of GxP, CSV, validation, audit trails, or compliance requirements is valuable.
