Stable position in an established company undergoing growth. 10/06/2026 Job Description Castañé Grup, specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom wooden industrial packaging, located in Besalú (La Garrotxa), is seeking a Junior Industrial Draughtsperson to join and support our Technical Office department. The selected candidate will provide direct support to the engineering team in designing and developing packaging solutions, preparing manufacturing drawings, and ensuring quality and consistency of technical documentation. What is the objective of your role? To design and develop custom industrial packaging solutions that guarantee product protection and safe handling during transportation, while optimizing materials, costs, and manufacturing processes. Requirements * Qualification: Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Mechanical Manufacturing Design or equivalent. * Preferred qualifications: What do we value? + Knowledge of ERP systems. + Additional training in industrial design. * Responsibilities: \- Design custom industrial packaging according to product specifications and transport requirements. + Prepare and interpret technical drawings, including 3D packaging modeling using SolidWorks. + Apply dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications to drawings. + Prepare bill-of-materials and material lists. + Perform cost calculation and analysis for products and services. + Generate documentation required for manufacturing and/or assembly (including manufacturing orders). + Coordinate with technical team members and other departments such as production and procurement. * Essential requirements: \- Methodical, quality-oriented, and solution-driven individual with strong learning ability, adaptability to new processes, and autonomy in task management. + Ability to interpret technical drawings. + Proficiency in drafting tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. + Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Mechanical Manufacturing Design or equivalent. + Valid driver’s license (Category B) and personal vehicle. + Residence in the Garrotxa region or adjacent areas. + Native-level Catalan proficiency. * Additional requirements: What do we offer? + Stable position in an established company undergoing growth. + Annual gross salary range of €25,000–€28,000, depending on experience and candidate’s profile. + Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, split shift from 7:30–12:30 and 13:00–16:00; intensive Friday from 7:00–15:00\. + Positive work environment and job stability.
