Job Summary: We are seeking a mechanical supervisor for the expansion of the Carboneras desalination plant, responsible for the installation, assembly, and quality control of industrial equipment and piping. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision of installation and assembly of industrial mechanical equipment. 2. Control of welding execution and piping assembly in accordance with drawings. 3. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Personnel are sought for mechanical supervision during the expansion phase of the Carboneras desalination plant. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise installation and assembly of industrial mechanical equipment. * Control welding execution, prefabrication, and piping assembly in accordance with drawings and P\&ID. * Validate construction progress and report to the site manager or project management. * Verify work quality and manage mechanical tests (hydrostatic, pneumatic, torque). * Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. * Review and update drawings according to as-built conditions. * Coordinate technical personnel and subcontractors. * Collaborate with other disciplines (electrical, civil, instrumentation) for integration of the mechanical system. **Senior:** * Over 10 years of experience in supervision of industrial mechanical construction projects. * Experience in assembly of industrial plants, petrochemical facilities, power generation plants, mining operations, or similar. * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating subcontractors. * Industrial shutdown experience is desirable. **Junior:** * 3 to 5 years of experience in supervision of industrial mechanical construction projects. * Experience in assembly of industrial plants, petrochemical facilities, power generation plants, mining operations, or similar. * Experience supervising work crews and coordinating with subcontractors. * Industrial shutdown experience is desirable. * Competencies and Skills: * Leadership and team coordination capability. * Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS standards and proficiency in P\&ID interpretation. * Commitment to industrial quality and safety. * Multidisciplinary collaboration and adaptability to site environments. Observations: Temporary contract for 5 months during peak activity period (May/June to October). Immediate availability and flexibility for on-site work.
