This is a strongly functionally oriented position, acting as a bridge between business, operations, risk, and technology, with direct impact on core transactional cycle processes. The selected candidate will work under a hybrid model, with occasional on-site visits to clients in Madrid or Barcelona depending on the project. **Profiles We Are Seeking** This posting targets professionals with at least 3–4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: 1️ **Acquiring** * Functional analysis and definition of merchant onboarding processes and payment method configuration * Understanding of authorization, settlement, and reconciliation flows * Experience with POS terminals, payment gateways, e-commerce, and omnichannel environments * Interaction with acquirers, PSPs, and processors * Management of operational incidents (declines, processing errors, settlement issues) 2️ **Card Issuance** * Functional definition of the card lifecycle: activation, renewal, reissuance, blocking/unblocking, limits, and statuses * Functional configuration of debit, credit, or prepaid card products * Knowledge of authorization, clearing, and settlement flows * Experience with issuance platforms or banking/financial environments * Ability to translate business needs into clear functional documentation 3️ **Card Issuance with Redsys Protocol Knowledge** * Functional experience in card issuance with integration to Redsys * Knowledge of authorization flows, messaging, and response codes * Understanding of issuer–Redsys–scheme interactions * Identification and analysis of operational incidents related to authorizations and declines * Experience working with processors or platforms connected to Redsys 4️ **Fraud and Authorizations** * Functional analysis of card authorization flows * Knowledge of anti-fraud rules, decision engines, and 3DS * Optimization of authorization rates and reduction of false positives * Analysis of transactional metrics (authorization rates, fraud rates, decline patterns) * Collaboration with risk, operations, and technology teams 5️ **Tokenization and Payment Security** * Functional experience in card tokenization * Knowledge of HSMs and cryptographic flows (PIN, keys, certificates) * Participation in PCI compliance-related projects * Understanding of cryptographic processes in issuance and/or acquiring * Ability to translate business and security requirements into functional definitions **Common Requirements** * 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the payments ecosystem * Functional experience (not purely technical) * Analytical capability and end-to-end vision of the payment process * Experience collaborating with business, operations, and technology teams * Fluent Spanish * B1-level English is valued **Work Model** * Hybrid model * Occasional on-site visits to clients in Madrid or Barcelona, based on project needs **What Does This Position Offer?** * Participation in strategic projects within the core payments domain * Exposure to critical processes in the card ecosystem * Collaborative and cross-functional environment * High specialization in a sector with strong demand and growth * Real impact on business, customer experience, and operational optimization If you possess solid experience in any of these areas and wish to advance your career within the payments ecosystem, this opportunity enables you to work at the heart of transactional decision-making and card-based solutions.
