Job Summary: A dental clinic is seeking a dental hygienist to provide dental care, cleaning, prevention, and patient care, ensuring optimal oral health. Key Highlights: 1. Development of communication skills and empathy The dental clinic requires a qualified dental hygienist in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Candidates must hold a Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Dental Hygiene and have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience. Additionally, at least 2 years’ experience in patient reception at a dental clinic is required. A permanent full-time contract is offered. Working hours are intensive on Mondays (3–8 PM) and Fridays (9 AM–3 PM), and split shifts from Tuesdays to Thursdays (10–2 PM and 3–8 PM). The salary is distributed across 12 monthly payments of EUR 2,300 gross/month. \- Professional dental cleaning: removal of bacterial plaque and tartar (dental calculus), tooth polishing, fluoride application \- Examination and documentation: assessment of teeth and gum condition, collection of clinical data for medical records, performance of dental radiographs (in accordance with regulations). \- Education and prevention: instruction on proper brushing and flossing techniques, personalized oral hygiene recommendations, dietary advice related to oral health. \- Assistance to dentists: preparation of materials and instruments, support during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions), sterilization and disinfection control. \- Specific preventive treatments: periodontal monitoring and maintenance \- Management and organization: appointment scheduling, management of medical supplies, compliance with hygiene and safety protocols. \- Telephone and in-person patient reception at the dental clinic * 3 years’ experience. Relevant experience performing similar duties within a multidisciplinary dentistry team. Also, at least 2 years’ experience in patient reception at a dental clinic. * Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Dental Hygiene * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Catalan (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: Minimum requirements: \- Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Dental Hygiene \- Minimum 3 years’ experience performing similar duties within a multidisciplinary dentistry team \- Experience in patient reception at a dental clinic (minimum 2 years) \- Catalan/Spanish Skills: \- Communication skills: ability to clearly and reassuringly explain treatments \- Empathy and patient interaction: especially important with children or individuals with dental anxiety. \- Precision and manual dexterity: highly detailed and meticulous work \- Responsibility and organizational skills: management of supplies, schedules, and protocols. \- Discretion and confidentiality: respect for clinical information privacy. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: EUR 2300 * Additional information of interest: A permanent full-time contract is offered.
