You will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying and resolving failures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with production to minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability. * Preventive maintenance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly plans and checklists according to established procedures. * Repairs and corrective maintenance: Diagnose failures, perform mechanical repairs, and coordinate interventions with external suppliers when required. * Equipment assembly and disassembly: Perform adjustments, component replacements, and commissioning of machinery on production lines. * Inspections and controls: Check component condition, fluid levels, tolerances, and record findings in the management system. * Production support: Respond promptly to incidents to reduce downtime and collaborate on improving operational procedures. * Spare parts management: Identify required components, order replacements, and maintain orderly inventory control for maintenance. * Compliance with safety regulations: Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, use personal protective equipment, and keep the work area tidy. * Documentation and reporting: Complete work orders, report incidents, and propose improvements based on failure analysis. #### **Key Responsibilities** We seek responsible individuals with technical diagnostic ability and problem-solving orientation, who collaborate effectively with other teams and promote continuous improvement in the maintenance area. * Ensure machinery availability and reliability during the afternoon shift. * Communicate incidents, spare parts requirements, and improvement proposals effectively. * Maintain safety during interventions and comply with internal procedures. * Contribute to cost optimization through efficient and preventive maintenance. ##### **Competencies and Values We Seek: Results Orientation, Proactivity, and Teamwork** * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems. * Organization, planning, and autonomy in time management during the shift. * Proactive attitude, resilience, and ability to work under pressure while meeting availability targets. * Communication skills and collaborative teamwork with production and quality departments. * Commitment to safety, inclusion, and respect in the workplace. ###### **Requirements and Qualifications** * Prior experience as a mechanic, industrial maintenance technician, or similar role, preferably in process or manufacturing industries. * Minimum education: Vocational Training (FP) Intermediate or Advanced Level in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprint reading; additional training in automation and PLCs is valued. * Availability to work the afternoon shift and, occasionally, overtime or on-call duties as required. * Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and prioritize workplace safety. * Certificates and courses in occupational risk prevention and safe handling of tools and equipment will be valued. ###### **Employment Conditions and Benefits at Liquats** * Permanent contract * Continuous training and professional development opportunities within the organization. * An inclusive, safe, and respectful work environment committed to equal opportunities.
