TECHNICAL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTS FOR AN AUTISM RESIDENTIAL FACILITY

We are seeking staff with the profile of a Technical Educational Assistant for an Autism Residential Facility in Serinyà (Girona). The main objective of this position is to support individuals in their daily life activities and promote Quality of Life by implementing each person’s Individualized Care Plan. The organization has been operating since 1988 in a rural setting. Responsibilities related to the needs of individuals with autism and functional diversity. In general terms, the Technical Educational Assistant must provide necessary supports—documented in each individual’s Individualized Plan—aligned with the established objectives based on the dimensions of Quality of Life. Key responsibilities include: \- Accompanying and supporting the individual in daily tasks and socialization \- Fostering and strengthening habits of personal autonomy \- Supporting the individual in tasks related to hygiene and personal care \- Accompanying and supporting daily residential tasks \- Administering prescribed medication according to instructions from the Medical Team \- Attending to individuals when unwell or experiencing health issues \- Providing accompaniment and support during transfers between Mas Casadevall I and Mas Casadevall II residential facilities \- Managing crisis situations and acting accordingly per the protocol established by FAMC \- Accompanying and encouraging leisure and recreational activities aligned with individual and group needs \- Promoting coexistence (interpersonal and social relationships) and community integration * UPPER-SECONDARY VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION (FP) * Catalan (spoken: advanced; written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: advanced; written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates holding a Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Social Integration or a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Care for Dependent Individuals * Vehicle availability required: private car * Driver’s license: Class B * Indefinite-term employment contract * Part-time schedule (1699 hours annually) * Additional relevant information: Start date is NOT IMMEDIATE.
