Your key responsibilities will include: * Analyzing hardware power requirements for equipment associated with new projects or products under development. * Developing specifications and designing power stages according to product requirements, using power diodes, thyristors, IGBTs, MOSFETs, etc. * Selecting driver circuits for power stages. * Designing protections for power circuits. * Providing support and designing cooling circuits for power stages. * Performing and developing qualification of power components. * Evaluating available market components considering availability, product lifecycle, and state-of-the-art technology, as well as selecting appropriate components based on required criteria. * Preparing test setups to conduct necessary verification and testing, ensuring correct design functionality. * Supervising and tracking prototype construction. * Conducting required tests, simulations, and validations to ensure correct design functionality, identifying potential issues, and implementing required solutions. * Preparing technical documentation and ensuring its proper updating following modifications and changes. **We Are Looking For:** * Academic background: Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering * Professional experience: +10 years in similar environments * Languages: English B2 * Technical knowledge: Advanced proficiency in PSIM **Why Choose Power Electronics?** * Flexible working hours and hybrid work mode (depending on the position). * Continuous training through our Corporate University. * Benefits such as subsidized cafeteria, on-site gym, and personalized PEbenefits. * Flexible Compensation Plan: transportation, childcare, training, among others. * Multicultural environment with real opportunities for international growth. **Our Commitment** At Power Electronics, we promote equal opportunities, diversity, and professional development.
