International collaboration environment with daily use of English We are looking to hire a **Senior Portal & Middleware Engineer** for an international project in the banking sector, collaborating with a team based in the UK. Solid, stable technical environment, fully remote (**100% remote**). Permanent contract, full-time (40 hours/week), morning shift. Salary range: **€37,000–€40,000 gross annual**, depending on seniority. **Responsibilities** * Development and evolution of a corporate enterprise portal * Development of modular components (portlets or equivalents) * Integration with corporate systems (including SAP) * Advanced customization of portal themes and structure * Content modeling and management in corporate CMS * Participation in technical decision-making and best practices * Resolution of complex incidents and code reviews * Collaboration in an international environment (daily English) **Requirements** * Fluent English level — daily usage required *(key requirement)* * Experience with corporate portal platforms (Liferay, SAP Portal, WebLogic Portal or similar) * Experience with WebSphere Portal Server * 4–5 years of experience developing on application servers (enterprise middleware) * Experience in advanced content management within corporate CMS **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the banking sector or regulated environments * Experience in Java EE architecture * Experience leading technical decisions Employment type: Full-time, Permanent contract Salary: €37,000.00–€40,000.00 per year Application questions: * Do you currently reside in Spain?
