Job Summary: We are seeking a waste collection driver responsible for operating specialized vehicles, monitoring team productivity and vehicle maintenance, and proposing improvements. Proposing improvements to optimize collections Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental, S.A. requires temporary staffing for the position of waste collection driver. • Operating specific waste collection or haulage vehicles: cranes trucks, compacting trucks, box trucks, box vans, and street sweepers. • Following assigned routes and circuits established by the supervisor and company management. • Ensuring the helper(s) perform their tasks productively and efficiently, facilitating waste collection at locations where citizens have deposited them. • Maintaining the vehicle in good condition, complying with established safety regulations and best practices. • Reporting waste collection incidents to the supervisor. • Assisting in the collection of waste, bulky items, scrap metal, used oil, and other waste materials assimilable to urban waste. • Complying with established safety regulations and best practices. • Proposing improvements to optimize collections, streamline routes, or enhance the quality of selective collection. • Completing work sheets and truck inspection sheets; identifying and reporting incidents to the technical department. * Minimum 6 months’ experience. The following experience will be considered favorably: a) Experience in the waste sector performing similar tasks. b) Experience in the services or logistics sector involving vehicle transport in urban areas (trucks preferred). * Lower Secondary Education Certificate * Catalan (spoken: Intermediate, written: Intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Personal vehicle availability * Valid driving licenses: B, C * Temporary employment contract (6 months) * Full-time working hours * Additional relevant information: Annual gross salary: 30\.365,74 €
