Industrial Roof Maintenance Technician

Description

You will work as part of a two-person team responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of industrial roofs—a task that accounts for 90% of daily activities. Your work will always take place in industrial warehouses and will not include roof installation; it will also involve cleaning and repairing gutters, as well as installing, inspecting, and maintaining fall protection systems—such as lifelines and anchor points. You will travel daily to clients’ facilities, primarily within Asturias, using a company vehicle assigned by the team. We are seeking a responsible and proactive individual capable of collaborating effectively in a pair and leading the safe execution of tasks. Prior experience in façade or roofing sectors is valued, as is a collaborative, problem-solving attitude. The company offers a dynamic environment where safety is a top priority and continuous training is encouraged to help you obtain required certifications. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00, including one hour for lunch, and Friday from 08:00 to 14:00, facilitating work-life balance. Overtime or weekend work is extremely rare. Daily meals are covered by the company; accommodation and per diems are also provided for assignments outside the usual area. An internal training plan is included to obtain any missing certifications, along with real opportunities for promotion within the organization. Salary follows the Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement plus a hazard allowance. One to two years of experience in the installation and inspection of lifelines is required, preferably in the roofing or façade sector. A valid Class B driver’s license is mandatory for operating the company vehicle. Training in the Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement, working at height (minimum 8 hours, 16\ recommended), basic occupational health and safety (PRL) training (50/60 hours, Preventive Resource), use of powered access equipment (PEMP), and work in confined spaces will be considered advantageous.
