ENGLISH EDUCATOR FOR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At Escola Pia Mataró, we are seeking individuals with a vocation for education to join the Language Academy team for the 2026/2027 academic year. We believe in lively, dynamic, and meaningful English learning. Therefore, we employ active methodologies, games, projects, reading, and preparation for official Cambridge exams, adapting to each educational stage—from Early Childhood Education through Secondary Education (Baccalaureate), Vocational Training (FP), and even adult classes. Deliver age-appropriate extracurricular English activities. Create motivating, dynamic, and participatory learning experiences. Promote oral communication in English through games, projects, and experiential activities. Monitor students’ learning progress. Coordinate with the leisure education and pedagogical team. Depending on your profile and experience, deliver English reinforcement courses or official Cambridge exam preparation courses (B1 Preliminary for Schools, B2 First for Schools, and C1 Advanced). * Minimum 1 year of experience. Experience teaching English or leading extracurricular activities. Experience preparing students for official Cambridge exams. Experience working with children and adolescents. Being a former student of Escola Pia Mataró or having ties to the school. * English (spoken: Upper-Intermediate or higher; written: Upper-Intermediate or higher) * Competencies / knowledge: CELTA or TEFL certification. Leisure Activity Monitor qualification. * Indefinite-term employment contract * Part-time afternoon schedule (10 hours — fixed and periodic, discontinuous nature) * Gross monthly salary ranging from '500' to '1000' * Additional relevant information: Working hours: part-time, primarily in the afternoon, depending on assigned groups. If you hold the Leisure Activity Monitor qualification, you may extend your working hours by also participating in the Escola Pia Mataró midday space and morning reception services.
