Ref. 153724 FI FIXIOR Olot, Garrotxa Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 h Indefinite \- direct employment contract with the company 13/08/2026 Job Description An established food industry company specializing in meat product manufacturing, with a production plant located in the Garrotxa region and decades of market presence, is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to strengthen its Quality Department. Stable position with a hybrid role spanning both production floor and office environments, within a company operating well-established processes and holding demanding certifications. WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE? * Supervise compliance with the HACCP system and with quality and food safety standards on the production floor. * Daily monitoring of production processes: in-line controls, verifications, sampling, and validation of critical parameters. * Prepare and manage quality audits (customer, certification bodies, IFS/BRC) and handle official veterinary inspections. * Manage the documentation system: records, procedures, technical instructions, technical data sheets, and traceability. * Process non-conformities, incidents, and complaints, defining corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness. * Supplier and raw material control and qualification. * Review labeling, food information, and compliance with current legislation. * Deliver training on hygiene, quality, and good practices to production staff. WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * University degree in Food Science and Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality Department within the food industry. * Proven experience in quality audits and veterinary inspections, with ability to perform effectively under pressure. * Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and certification standards. * Problem-solving and rigorous profile, comfortable both on the production floor and in documentation management. * Residence in Olot or surrounding area (approx. 15 minutes by car). ESPECIALLY VALUED * Prior experience in the meat sector. * Experience leading end-to-end IFS or BRC audits. * Experience in supplier management and qualification. * Knowledge of labeling and food information legislation.
