More than just a company, Newrest embodies a family, with 97% of its capital held by over 700 employees. **Our Operations in Spain:** Number of employees: 1,300 Core activities: airline and rail catering Key clients: American Airlines, Emirates, Delta, Binter, Air Nostrum, Ouigo, to name just a few. **Your Role:** We are seeking: a Logistics Manager You will report to: Management **Key Responsibilities:** Operations * Organize supply service activities and operations according to our clients’ requirements. * Place necessary orders for raw materials and/or products in accordance with current procedures. * Anticipate supply needs during peak activity periods (weekends, summer months, etc.). * Ensure proper storage of products in designated areas (adhering to the FIFO principle: first in, first out). * Guarantee optimal stock management to optimize financial costs. * Resolve incidents (e.g., non-delivery, partial delivery) to meet our clients’ demands. * Ensure safety and proper handling of raw material dispatches. * Perform daily checks of refrigerated chambers, stock status, product expiry dates, and visual appearance. * Verify temperature compliance in positive- and negative-temperature refrigerated chambers. * Analyze deviations and implement action plans when required. * Issue and distribute purchase orders to suppliers; digitally record delivery data and invoices. * Manage product inventories. * Actively participate in strategic planning for the Quality Management System (QMS). Communication and Team Management * Determine staffing needs based on service activity levels. * Supervise a team and foster its competence development and efficiency. * Ensure the team understands daily objectives. * Conduct briefing meetings for important communications. * Inform management about incidents or dysfunctions (e.g., delivery delays, personnel issues). * Ensure integration of new temporary and/or permanent employees. * Collaborate and communicate with teams to ensure group cohesion. * Conduct individual evaluation, recruitment, and disciplinary interviews. * Uphold and communicate corporate values.
