Position Summary: Tragsatec, a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, is seeking a Technician to support climate-related tasks, including the Galician Climate Law, carbon credits, and outreach. The Tragsatec Group reserves the right to request at any time during the process the supporting documents for the data declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV, whenever such information is necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits detailed in this job posting. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Possession of one of the following qualifications at MECES Level 3: + Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Physics, Geology, Geography, Environmental Sciences or Chemical Engineering + Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Physics, Geology, Geography or Environmental Sciences or Technical Engineering in Chemical Engineering, plus an Official Master’s Degree related to the position. + Higher Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Engineering, plus an Official Master’s Degree in Geophysics and Meteorology, Meteorology or Climate Sciences. Qualification recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities. #### **Languages** * Official English Certificate, Minimum Level B2 * Official Galician Certificate, Minimum Level B2 ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Type B driving license, currently in force * Proficiency in office software **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * From 6 months up to 5 years of verifiable professional experience in outreach, awareness-raising and/or education on Climate Change * From 6 months up to 6 years of experience in voluntary carbon markets and emission offset projects (verifiable professional experience) * From 6 months up to 3 years of experience in environmental assessment procedures and green public procurement processes * From 6 months up to 3 years of experience in preparing environmental reports (climate change, summaries of events, seminars and/or congresses, project execution, etc.) (verifiable professional experience) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 8 months, if applicable. + Consideration may be given to a trainee contract depending on applications received. In that case, a fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable for another 6 months, if applicable.
