MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Description

A maintenance technician is required for South Catalonia (Baix Ebre, Montsià, Terra Alta, and Ribera d'Ebre). Maintenance staff at the center must carry out comprehensive maintenance of the center's facilities in an agile and effective manner, ensuring proper operation and maintaining all areas in perfect condition. Among other duties, the following tasks will be performed: • Repair various defects arising from the center’s operational dynamics. • Carry out preventive maintenance of the center’s installations. • Carry out improvement works at the center. • Supervise and maintain work tools. Therefore, maintenance staff responsibilities include, among others, electricity, welding, metalwork, home automation, automation, IT, masonry, plumbing, etc., as well as material replacements and repairs necessary to keep the center’s installations and equipment in perfect working condition. In addition, they must oversee and ensure compliance with maintenance protocols and guidelines for the center’s machinery and installations. * Minimum 12 months’ experience. Experience of at least one year in a similar position is desirable. * MIDDLE-GRADE VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION * Competencies / knowledge: Center Services Staff, specifically maintenance staff, must possess specific training enabling them to properly perform their duties and/or relevant trade experience. Knowledge of electricity, welding, metalwork, home automation, automation, IT, masonry, plumbing, etc. Good social skills. • Ability to learn. • Organizational ability. • Ability to work in a team. * Personal vehicle required * Temporary employment contract (3 months) * Part-time schedule (19 hours \- weekly working hours) * Additional information of interest: Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
