Key leadership role with real impact on how the company builds chips ID: ITM\-1 ###### **Description** As IT Manager, you will be the technical and strategic owner of Seynamics’ IT ecosystem. This is a hands\-on ership role, combining architecture, operations, and team ership. You will ensure that our infrastructure—from HPC compute farms to cloud and corporate IT—acts as a competitive advantage for our engineering teams. You will support approximately 150 highly technical users working on cutting\-edge silicon design and verification, operating across on\-premise HPC, colocation facilities, and cloud platforms. **Key Responsibilities** **Team Leadership \& IT Strategy*** Lead, mentor, and grow a small, highly skilled IT team * Define and execute the company’s IT roadmap aligned with business and engineering goals * Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and procurement * Own and oversee internal tools and business\-critical applications * Act as the main liaison between engineering, operations, and management * Coordinate and support corporate website and internal systems development **Infrastructure \& HPC Operations*** Own and evolve a hybrid infrastructure spanning: * On\-premise and colocation HPC clusters used to run EDA tools Cloud platforms (Hetzner and others) used to run EDA tools * Manage a Rocky Linux / RHEL\-based compute farm orchestrated with SLURM * Design, operate, and scale distributed storage systems (e.g., Ceph) * Ensure high availability, performance, and security across compute, storage, and * networking * Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster\-recovery strategies * Drive automation using Ansible, Python, and Bash **Engineering Enablement*** Partner closely with silicon design and verification teams to optimize workflows * Operate and scale self\-hosted GitLab and GitLab CI/CD * Manage EDA tool licensing, deployments, and integrations * Support custom Python\-based engineering tools and internal platforms * Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve productivity and reliability **IT Operations \& Security*** Oversee day\-to\-day IT operations and user support * Manage user devices, networking, and core services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, etc.) * Own authentication and identity systems (FreeIPA, Keycloak, OAuth2\) * Define and enforce security policies and best practices * Ensure compliance with internal security, data protection, and operational standards **Why Join Seynamics?*** Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits * A chance to design and run the infrastructure behind world\-class silicon engineering * Work in a deeply technical, collaborative, and engineering\-driven culture A key * ership role with real impact on how the company builds chips ###### **Requirements** * Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior Systems Engineer, ideally in semiconductor, EDA, or HPC environments * Deep expertise in RHEL\-based Linux systems (Rocky Linux, RHEL, CentOS) * Strong experience with distributed storage systems (e.g., Ceph) * Hands\-on experience running self\-hosted GitLab and CI/CD runner fleets * Strong scripting and automation skills (Python and Bash) * Experience with Ansible and infrastructure\-as\-code * Solid understanding of core network services and protocols Ability to* technical projects and manage a small team * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills **Nice to Have*** Experience with HPC workload managers (SLURM, LSF, SGE) * Familiarity with EDA toolchains (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens) * Experience with Mikrotik and UniFi networking equipment * Experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on\-premise \+ cloud) * Strong background in IT security best practices
