You will work directly with technical, operational, and leadership teams—identifying improvement opportunities through data, observation, and interaction with processes—and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency. **Position Responsibilities:** * Model complex optimization problems based on business requirements—identifying key variables, constraints, objectives, and possible resolution approaches. * Design, develop, and maintain optimization algorithms—including metaheuristics such as Simulated Annealing—in clean, scalable, and reusable object-oriented code. * Implement solutions in Python or other suitable languages, applying sound software engineering practices (modularization, unit testing, version control, documentation). * Validate models and algorithms through controlled testing, sensitivity analysis, and result visualization. * Collaborate with data, product, and operations teams to translate real needs into effective computational solutions—prioritizing impact over system performance. * Document technical decisions and iteration outcomes, ensuring reproducibility and knowledge transfer across the team. * Stay up-to-date with advanced optimization techniques, emerging tools, libraries, and relevant trends in the field.
