Welding Engineer.
**Permanent contract / Full-time**
**Would you like to contribute to the Welding Engineer role within the Welding Engineering and Thermal Treatment Department?**
If you have experience in welding engineering, interpretation of standards and codes, welding procedure qualification, welder qualification, process and material analysis, and technical support to manufacturing, this could be your opportunity.
**What will your day-to-day responsibilities be?**
✅ Review of customer documentation for quotation preparation.
✅ Preparation of welding technical documentation, supplementary instructions, and implementation of such documentation in manufacturing and testing, in accordance with contractual codes and standards.
✅ Collaboration in developing the welding manual and issuing documentation for welding procedure qualification, including its updating and maintenance.
✅ Commissioning and analysis of tests for new processes or materials, preparation of analyses, and issuance of technical reports.
✅ Collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing departments in developing and designing new components, monitoring work progress, controlling processes, and continuous improvement.
✅ Creation and/or review of low-complexity drawings using 3D software, and support in part fabrication and machine programming.
✅ Management of workshop tasks and workforce at CTA.
✅ Conducting and/or certifying mock-up welding and welder qualification.
✅ Identification and proposal of design and execution of necessary mock-ups for highly complex projects.

**Mandatory Requirements:**
✅ Minimum qualification: Technical Engineering degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
✅ Minimum official English proficiency level: B2.
✅ Possession of the International or European Welding Engineer (IWE/IWT) certification.
