The Port Services team specializes in delivering advanced equipment, software, and maintenance solutions for cargo handling and lifting operations within port environments, thereby optimizing operational efficiency. Job Description We are seeking a **Service Technician** to join our team **in Barcelona.** This person will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of port equipment, playing a key role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations. **Key responsibilities include:** * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and scheduled repairs on port cranes and other lifting equipment. * Efficiently diagnosing and resolving equipment faults. * Coordinating with the rest of the technical team to maximize productivity and safety. * Accurately completing all required technical documentation. Requirements Essential qualifications: * Performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on port cranes and other lifting equipment. * Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently. * Acting as a liaison between customers, engineering, and the parent company to ensure smooth operations. * Coordinating and organizing the technical team to maximize productivity and safety. * Identifying and reporting improvement or sales opportunities during service interventions. * Accurately completing all required technical documentation. * Executing repairs and upgrades on drive systems, including commissioning. Desirable qualifications: * Port industry experience. Please note: * The position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic port environment. * Overtime will be compensated accordingly. * Willingness to work under physically demanding conditions and varied weather conditions is required.
