We currently have an open opportunity for an **Application Engineer** in **Bilbao**. As an applications specialist focused on pre-sales, you will identify the technical and commercial challenges faced by our global customers, aiming to deliver high-tech solutions tailored to industrial applications. Technical expertise is essential, but excellent interpersonal skills are also required, as you will provide technical support, consulting, training, and assistance to the sales team in developing new business opportunities. ### **Responsibilities:** * Support the sales team in pre-sales activities such as technical visits, software demonstrations, proof-of-concept developments using ANSYS software, etc. * Participate in internal and external technical support activities and in the development of consulting projects using numerical simulation tools. * Develop in-person or online technical presentations for prospects and customers. * Be available for national and international travel. ### **Required Qualifications:** * Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering. * Experience using FEA tools. * Understanding of programming logic. * Ability to use CAD packages for geometry design, meshing, and post-processing. * Ability to work collaboratively, self-manage, and maintain a results-oriented mindset. * Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in English.
