Production Operator

Description

The production operator is responsible for fundamental tasks essential to the proper functioning of the manufacturing line. This includes continuously supplying materials and components required for the assembly line, ensuring no interruptions occur due to supply shortages. Additionally, they perform continuous process monitoring, supervising that each stage is executed according to established procedures and defined quality standards. Active product surveillance across various stages is critical to detect any deviations in a timely manner. Another key responsibility is removing finished products, preparing them for packaging, storage, or shipment, while ensuring careful handling to prevent damage. Incident management forms part of daily duties; the operator must identify mechanical, supply, or quality-related issues, report them following established protocols, and, where possible, assist in immediate resolution to minimize downtime. The role requires maintaining an orderly and safe working environment, complying fully with all occupational health and safety regulations. Collaboration with other team members and supervisors is essential to achieve daily and weekly production targets. In summary, this is an active and dynamic position focused on operational efficiency and final output quality. This position offers rotating schedules covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, according to production planning. Initial employment is temporary, with duration varying depending on project requirements, and there is potential for continuity and career growth within the company in the medium and long term. The work environment is characterized by a positive and collaborative atmosphere among team members. A medium or higher vocational qualification is required, preferably in technical or industrial fields. Demonstrable experience of at least one year in production environments is mandatory, particularly in sectors such as metalworking or automotive. Specific knowledge must include experience in part inspection, machining processes, production line control, and component assembly.
