Role Summary/Purpose * Design \& enhancement of wind turbine control systems, coordinating with teams within Renewable engineering and Services on product needs. * Responsible for requirements flow down leading to design, implementation and validation of control systems. The broad scope of responsibility provides an opportunity to optimize turbine and sub\-system operation. Essential Responsibilities * Development and enhancement of wind turbine controls technologies, covering functional requirements definition, flow down, preliminary design development and documentation. * As part of the broader control system design, interface with the turbine controls team to incorporate operability requirements into the controller design. * Investigate controls issues, participate in identifying and implementing improvements in control strategies. * As a member of the controls team, participate in conceptual, detailed design, implementation and validation of the controls features. * Contribute to the definition and documentation of turbine operation modes and constraints. This includes creating the foundation on which controls architecture and approach can be modified to meet goals of improved performance and reliability. * Interface with simulations team, incorporate wind turbine, and wind farm operability requirements into the design, as part of control system design. Your profile: * BSc / MSc. in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Electrical, Electronics or similar. * English B2 or equivalent. Must have knowledge and tools: * \+3 years of experience in Control Engineering projects. * Experience in graphical programming and simulation (Matlab\-Simulink). * Experience in PLC programming. * Experience in developing technical documentation: SRS, FDS, Test cases among others. * Experience managing requirements: analyze, plan, implement, validate and verify. * Experience dealing with clients in English.
