Construction Technician

Description

PURPOSE Technically supervise and control the execution of construction works and projects at the client's site, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, applicable regulations, and Bureau Veritas protocols. Works on-site (energy, civil, building, renewables, railway, etc.) with continuous coordination with contractors, design management, and the client. Their on-site presence ensures safety, quality, and traceability throughout the project's progress. FUNCTIONS * Daily supervision of construction activities: civil, mechanical, electrical, or multidisciplinary. * Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of execution against the schedule and project specifications. * Verify materials and equipment on-site: receipt, conformity, and traceability. * Conduct QA/QC inspections and record evidence in the corresponding protocols. * Identify and manage non-conformities, initiating and tracking corrective action plans. * Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and design management during site meetings. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental plans on-site. * Validate measurements, progress certifications, and as-built documentation. * Report progress, risks, and deviations to the project manager. * Document incidents, photographs, and site records with full traceability. * Apply Bureau Veritas quality, safety, and ethics protocols at the client's site. REQUIREMENTS * Technical qualification (higher vocational training or bachelor's/degree in engineering) relevant to the type of construction work (civil, electrical, mechanical, building, renewables). * Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction supervision or execution, preferably in QA/QC or construction management. * Knowledge of technical regulations, quality plans, and on-site safety protocols. * Willingness to travel and reside near the project site if required. * English proficiency is an asset, especially for international projects; valid driver's license. * * #### **Job Description and Profile (external)**
